About Your Host

Tom Benefiel has hosted his own Friday night show on WGCY since August, 1995.

An employee for over seventeen years, Tom provides much of the local sports coverage on wgcyradio.com.

The Tom Benefiel Show features an eclectic mix of big band, swing, jazz, classic country, popular music from the 40's and 50's, lounge music, light classical, spoken-word recordings and almost everything in between.

Tom, his wife Jamie, three children, and old pick-up truck live in Colfax.

I love people, but only when they do what they're told!
