of WGCY. An avid sports fan, Gary enjoys "suffering" through the exploits of the Chicago Bears, Cubs,
and Bulls. Gary is the broadcast voice of Gibson City high school sports since November, 1983 and is an inductee of the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association hall-of-fame for his contributions to broadcasting high school basketball. Tom Benefiel has hosted his own Friday evening
show on WGCY for over sixteen years. A WGCY employee for over twenty-one years, Tom provides much of the local sports coverage on wgcyradio.com and is also the Sunday morning host. The newest member of our staff, Joni Cox, has
worked at WGCY since June, 2010 handling voice-over work, sales

Keith Winterland has been with WGCY since the
mid-1980s, starting as the Saturday afternoon host. He is now the main fill-in announcer when other staff members need a day off. Keith is also a great basketball play-by-play man. "Mr. Octavia" has been the public address announcer for Octavia and Ridgeview football and basketball going on three decades. |
